What would the impact on your staff be like, if you take\u00a0this type of perspective with them?<\/p>\n

Your employee\u2019s response will be\u00a0characterised by<\/strong><\/p>\n

    So, does “critical thinking” create agility?… “PAH”!<\/p>\n

    Why lean?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Lean, is to become aware of and protect your core business, build an outstanding team and bolt on capabilities around this core business?\u00a0Then engage in a way that with every interaction transforms capability.<\/p>\n

    How to you evaluate a leadership team?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The serial tech investor Simon Murdoch suggested that it was a subjective process to evaluate leadership. The key factors being the\u00a0\u201cteams flexibility and their ability to listen\u201d<\/strong>?<\/p>\n

    Could you:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • evaluate individuals\u00a0and as a team in 1 high value session?<\/li>\n
    • On site and in the context of their real work?<\/li>\n
    • test their ability to take an unfamiliar perspective?<\/li>\n
    • what might that perspective be anyway?<\/li>\n
    • identify the flaws that are holding them back?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      At the same time share the tools to enable them to\u00a0openly communicate<\/strong>\u00a0and know how and when to challenge the communication\u00a0with each other?<\/p>\n

      Recruitment?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      How do you evaluate the leadership team: what relevance does past performance to the future?<\/p>\n

      NONE.. Whatsoever<\/p>\n

      People\u00a0performance is down to<\/p>\n

      1. being given the opportunity<\/li>\n
      2. their working environment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        So how can you test capability outside that environment?<\/p>\n

        Is largely about how effectively people respond to unfolding events so..<\/p>\n

        How do you evaluate the dynamic of a leadership team and predict their success: such as<\/p>\n

        1. how they respond to each other and events in real time?<\/li>\n
        2. how flexible are they and can they take a different perspective?<\/li>\n
        3. increase and strengthen their ability to\u00a0openly communicate?<\/strong><\/li>\n
        4. are they strong enough to orchestrate value creation?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
